Travel with us -this is how it works:

Each semester IKSU Frilufts arrange 10-15 trips and activities, which are open for everybody; the only request is that you are a member of IKSU (gym card or member card recuired – the latter is only SEK 50  for students and SEK 100 for non -students). Welcome!

Book a trip:

You book (pay) the trips at our rental store SAREK(click on on link for more information about the store and opening hours). Pay with cash or card. Contact the guide for the specific trip if you have questions.

Pre-meeting

Before each trip we have a pre-meeting where we discuss equipment and preparation for the trip. If needed we will also plan what to eat and divide the participants into tent-groups. It is very important that you attend the premeeting! Equipment If you don’t have the equipment needed for the trip you can rent equipment in our Rental store. We have tents, skis, sleepingbag, etc. As a participant on our trip you will get a discount.  For opening hours, please see SAREK

The trip

We usually travel with rental cars/vans. The trip starts and finishes at IKSU. If it is a long journey we normally do a stop-over to catch some great fast-food.

The guides

Our non-profit guides are experienced outdoor people. We have all participated in a 60 hours long leadership education within Iksu-Frilufts. Each semester we improve our knowledge with different trainings.

Cancellation

- If cancellation is made earlier than 14 days before the trip a full refund, except 50 SEK adminstration fee, will be paid. - If cancellation is made 7 to13 days before the trip, 50% of the fee will be paid back, -If cancellation is made 0-6 days before the trip you can only get a full refund, except 50 SEK adminstration fee, upon showing a doctor´s certificate- The refund is managed via transaction to a specified banc-account. Please contact the responsable guide for details. No refund of cash is made through the reception at Iksu. – If the weather is rough and potentially dangerous the trip can be cancelled. Then you will get a full refund.
