About

Have you always wanted to try Nordic ice skating but don't feel experienced enough to go out on your own? Together we will enjoy the luxury of riding on the Tavelsjö Lake plowed skating track. You will get technique tips, information on what to think about when you go out on the ice, socializing and fun skating.

Trip description

We meet on site at Sundlingska gården (located next to Tavelsjö Lake) in the morning. The trip starts with an equipment check were you will also have time to eat your lunch. We will make sure everything fits and explain how it should be used when you go skating a lake or the ocean. We then start ice skating.

Those who feel experienced can skate freely, while those who are interested in technique tips can get assistance from two experienced skaters. We will show some practices to create greater security on the skates.

After an hour or so of skating, those interested get the chance to an ice-bath exercise in the wake (if it's open), and we talk about what to think about when you fall through the ice in different scenarios.

After that, there will be some snacks in front of the fire where we coexist and can share thoughts or experiences about what we have learned or thoughts about future trips.
