Nordic Ski Touring on the Island of Holmön

On Saturday morning we will meet at IKSU sport. Then we go by minivan together to Norrfjärden's harbour to board the ferry that will take us to Holmön. Once there, we will discover the archipelago and the island's attractions on skis. Among other things, there is a beautiful lighthouse, old fishing villages and large pebble beaches. All in a beautiful coastal environment, where the landscape is characterised by the elevation of the land from the last ice age, with many bays and ponds.

Along the trip we will have lunch by the fire, with a view over the sea. When the sun starts to set, we take the ferry back to the mainland for further transport to Umeå.

Mandatory pre-meeting

Please note that the pre-meeting is mandatory. If you cannot attend, contact the guides as early as possible. 

During the pre-meeting, we will go through the equipment list together and make any necessary adjustments, e.g. due to weather. 

A lot of the gear can be rented in our rental store Sarek. Participants get a discount on rental prices.
