Are you curious to explore the nature around Öreälven - from the water and land? Follow along on a beautiful canoe-trip, hike a spectacular nature trail and sleep outdoors!

Trip description

We will meet at the bus stop in Bjurholm on Saturday morning. You’ll arrange your own transport to Bjurholm, there are buses departing from Umeå hospital to Bjurholm. After we meet, we will walk to get the canoes before we start paddling down the river. After a day on the water and a stop for lunch, we exit in Agnäs. There we will leave the canoes and start the hike to our stop for the night. Togheter we raise the tents and have a lovely dinner prepared by the guides. Sunday morning, we will continue the hike back to Bjurholm along the river. We´ll stop for lunch about half way. We will arrive in Bjurholm in time for the afternoon bus back to IKSU.

Prerequisites
The trip is beginner friendly. You must be able to carry your own equipment and some shared equipment in a backpack.  
You must be able to Swim at least 200 meters.

Equipment

During the pre-meeting we go through all equipment and make perhaps make some adjustments, depending on the weatherforecast.

Much of the equipment is available for rental in our outdoor shop Sarek. As a participant you get a reduced price.
