About the trip

Explore the Umeå archipelago by kayak — an adventure offering open sea, beautiful nature, and a cozy overnight stay.

Date: 15-16 Maj 2026
Place: Umeå Archipelago
Price: 1500 kr

Trip description

We will meet at the coast on Friday after lunch and set off after a brief introduction and packing of the kayaks. During the afternoon we paddle out into the archipelago, enjoying the sea and keeping an eye out for birds and other wildlife on our way to the campsite. For those who wish, there will be an opportunity to practice some basic paddling techniques during the tour.

We cook dinner on camping stoves and enjoy the spring evening before settling into our sleeping bags. After breakfast on Saturday, we paddle back and expect to return to the mainland around lunchtime.
