Trip description

We will meet at IKSU Sport on Saturday morning. From there, we will drive together to Drakryggen, located along Lögdeälven in Bjurholm Municipality. Once we arrive, we’ll have lunch before walking to Storforskojan, where we’ll spend the rest of the weekend. The hike isn’t very long, but it can be challenging depending on the late-winter conditions. The trail is quite steep, but we’ll have plenty of time to make our way there safely.
When we reach Storforskojan, a full day and evening of exciting activities awaits us. Together we set up tents, build fires, and try traditional techniques for both cooking and crafts, such as tablet weaving and making our own filbunke (cultured milk). We wil also serve a two-course dinner prepared over an open fire.
After spending time around the fire, we’ll go to bed and sleep either in tents or in the cabin. On Sunday morning, we eat a nice breakfast, pack up, and head back to IKSU.
