Enjoy together

Of course, I treat everyone with respect. Through respect and consideration, we uphold the equal value of all people.

Naturally, I shower before swimming. That way, everyone enjoys a more pleasant experience with fresher water and less chlorine.

Obviously, I wear indoor shoes. That keeps the facilities cleaner and helps equipment last longer.

Naturally, I show consideration to everyone. By sharing and taking turns, everyone has a pleasant experience.

Of course, I clean up after myself. When the equipment is in its proper place, there's order and everyone can find what they need.

Certainly, I meet everyone with a friendly attitude. A welcoming environment creates good conditions for everyone to feel at home.

All of our guidelines for a pleasant environment

We care about a friendly atmosphere. Use a kind and respectful attitude. We value the equal worth of all individuals. That means our members are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration. No one may act or behave in a way that could be perceived as offensive or degrading in our facilities. This includes words, body language, clothing, and other forms of expression.

Take note of and follow the guidelines posted in our facilities, which apply to specific activities. These may include rules on safety, hygiene, equipment use, shoe zones, and more.

We are committed to a doping-free environment – all forms of doping are prohibited. Read more about our Anti-Doping Policy.

Alcohol is not permitted in our facilities.

Fire safety is very important to us. Please read about what is expected of you in the event of a fire.

Our rules on photography and filming can be found here.

Appropriate clothing must be worn in all shared spaces. Being shirtless is allowed in connection with bathing; otherwise, clothing should cover both upper and lower body.

You may not promote or sell your own or others’ products or services at IKSU. Only employees of IKSU are allowed to coach and train members within IKSU’s facilities.

Be considerate when using your mobile phone. For example, keep it on silent when participating in group training and step away from workout equipment while browsing or texting so others can use it. If you need to take a call, be respectful of other people training nearby.

IKSU reserves the right to suspend your membership or ask you to leave the premises immediately if you violate these guidelines.

The Code of Conduct was established by IKSU’s Board on December 12, 2017.
