What is the IKSU Fund?
The IKSU Fund is an initiative that makes it possible for more children and young people in Umeå to take part in sports, physical activity, and social belonging – regardless of their financial circumstances. The fund provides financial support to children and young people who might otherwise be unable to participate in IKSU’s activities for economic reasons.
Through the IKSU Fund, we aim to lower the barriers to an active and meaningful leisure time. All children should have the opportunity to join, try new activities, and experience the joy of movement and organized sports. The support can, for example, help cover fees or other costs required to take part in activities.
Private individuals and companies can choose to contribute, and every donation – big or small – makes a difference. Together, we can create opportunities for more children and young people to grow, thrive, and feel a sense of belonging through sports and physical activity.
