Trip description

We meet early on Friday morning at Umeå University Hospital were we will catch a bus. We eat lunch on the bus, and arrive shortly after midday. Then we hike about 6–8 km up into the mountains to our first campsite, where we’ll go over how to set up different tents and morning routines for breaking camp. On day two we pack up, head deeper into the mountains, and set up our second camp in a new spot—learning the best ways to pack and care for our gear. Sunday morning we pack up, hike back down to Hemavan, and catch the bus home to Umeå.
The hike is led by experienced guides who have spent months in the mountains and suits all levels—so here’s your chance to try mountain life in a safe setting and pick up useful skills for future adventures!
