About the trip

Welcome to a wonderful autumn hike along the beautiful Isälvsleden. This hike will be beginner friendly so the only thing that you need is a love for amazing nature and a desire to learn how to spend the night in the great outdoors.

  • Date: 18-19 October 2025
  • Place: Isälvsleden
  • Price: 600 SEK

Trip description

On Saturday morning we meet at Umeå University Hospital where we take the bus together to Vindeln where the Isälvsleden trail starts. We then hike at a leisurely pace for a few kilometers before stopping for lunch. After a longer break, we hike on to a suitable campsite for the night. Once at the campsite the guides have a short workshop on camping, cooking on a camping stove and general tips for a successful night in the wilderness, before we crawl into our sleeping bags for the night. On Sunday morning we have breakfast and pack up before hiking the final stretch to Hällnäs where we catch the train back to Umeå!
