Tag along this cozy paddling trip through Sävarån! Enjoy the peacefulness that this beautiful river surrounded by birch brings.

Trip description
At 3 PM we will all gather by Norrlands Universitetssjukhus where we take the bus towards Sävar. After the bus ride we will take a short walk to our canoes. From there we continue our trip in the water where we paddle our canoes through the beautiful river Sävarån towards Skeppsvik. We will be in our canoes about 4-5 hours in total but with a break to cook dinner together on outdoor stove and of course enjoy a cup of coffee. When we arrive in Skeppsvik we will be picked up by a car that takes us back to IKSU sport. We will be back before 9 PM.

Prerequisites
You need to be able to swim. Paddeling in canoes is simple and even if you haven't tried it before you will have no problem keeping up. Furthermore, there will be two or three people in every canoe so that someone more experienced can share canoe with someone less experienced.

An email will be sent closer to the trip with the time and date for the pre-meeting.
Note that it is mandatory. If you can't participate you need to inform the guides.

Equipment
During the pre-meeting we go through all equipment and make eventual adjustments of the packing list, for example depending on the weather.
Much of the equipment is available for rental in our outdoor shop Sarek. As a participant you get a reduced price.
